The Pinhole Surgical Technique is designed to be minimally invasive thus providing minimal discomfort for the dental patient. Essentially, traditional gum grafting would involve making smaller incisions and could often include taking gum tissue from other parts of the mouth to surgically place on other parts of the mouth that have receding gums.
